Very Rare Original Vintage Antique Silver Chrome Metal Car Grill Badge or License Plate Topper Emblem Ornament measures approximately 3-5/8" x 5-3/8".  The badge features stamped lion and eagle heads at the top, along with red and white enameling in a raised design consisting of oil rig, freighter, BANK BOOK,  &tc., and the following words:
METROPOLITAN CLUB
MOTORES PRUDENTIORES
A screw, nut and washer are attached to the badge through a hole provided near the bottom for purposes of mounting the badge to the car, grill or license plate.
The Very Rare Original Vintage Antique Nash Metropolitan Club Grill Badge or License Plate Topper is in Excellent Condition for its Considerable Age, and appears to have been little used, if at all.  Noted for accuracy only is a bit of tarnishing on the screw head which may be polished or easily substituted, if desired.  The badge has retained its shiny finish, with enameling still bright and vibrant.  Please see accompanying photographs.
