Vintage Mountain Bike Yeti Ultimate Accu Trax Tioga Shimano.
Yeti Ultimate #424- 17.5 center of BB to center of TT. Frame does have a slight vertical crack in the seat tube just below the TT- about 3ins down- see image #12… it’s my understanding that the early ones all did this BITD. I purchased an NOS Shimano XT seat post and with my short legs it extends past the crack. I’ve done about 150 miles on it since I built the Bike back in 2017. The Accu Trax fork was NOS… stem and fork are 1-1/8- I looked for years for a 1-1/4 so this frame has a reducer to accommodate the NOS Shimano headset fork and stem combo. Bullseye cranks and BB. The Bullseye hubs have the OG Orange bearings laced into the Mavic MA- 40 Rims, wheels spin smooth and straight. Hitting the ground with some Tioga Farmer John’s cousins both front and rear. All Shimano componets- SACHS cassette and chain- NOS Shimano pedals. Everything is period correct on this rider with some NOS ODI John T Grips. Ringle Skewers, Water Bottle cage and Seat binder… lots of battle scars no dents, just the slight crack in the seat tube. Keep it 100% original or have FTW tune it up.
