Description

The Sudan 5 Sudanese Pounds Banknote was issued by the Bank of Sudan in 2017. It comes in a color combination of blue, violet, and green. Its obverse depicts a future theme with modern architecture and a satellite. The reverse features the bank logo, an electrical tower, a hydroelectric dam, a solar panel, a wind turbine, and a balance scale. The note contains a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetallized CBOS and Arabic text. It also has a registration device in the form of a balance scale and a watermark that reveals a pigeon and an electrotype LS5. The banknote is 150 x 69 mm in size, and is in uncirculated condition.
