The South Sudan 50 South Sudanese Pound banknote was issued by the Bank of South Sudan in 2019. On the obverse of the banknote is a portrait of revolutionary leader Dr. John Garang de Mabior. It also shows a spear. The reverse of the paper bill depicts elephants. The paper bill is 142 x 72 mm in size and carries a green-to-gold windowed security thread with a demetalized BSS 50. It also has a watermark that reflects Dr. John Garang de Mabior and an electrotype 50. This South Sudan 50 Pound banknote is in extremely fine condition.
