Offered for auction is a Singer Featherweight Model 132, The machine is a nice clean machine that has been gone over, oiled/lubricated, adjusted and then test sewn to insure it is in proper working condition, The machine has 18 built in stitch patterns, Has a Left and center needle position, adjustable stitch width zig zag and adjustable stitch length, Machine is a very compact yet capable sewing machine, It is not a toy, It has a metal frame with plastic front cover, Industry Standard 15 class notched hook oscillating shuttle, takes class 15 bobbins, Uses 15x1 flat shank Household needles and accepts standard low shank attachments
Features 18 built in stitch patterns, a left and center needle position, 5 step buttonhole
A very nice selection of basic, utility, decorative and stretch stitch patterns
When we acquired the machine it was missing the bed extension table, We modified a table we had to fit the machine, It is held in place by velcro, to remove the table simply pull the table up and away from the back while sliding it to the left and it reinstalls the same way, takes seconds to remove or install
Machine has a built in carry handle, removable power cord that is indexed for one way insertion, 120 Volt 0.7 Amps
On/Off Rocker switch controls power to motor and light
Industry Standard 15 class notched hook oscillating shuttle, takes the common 15 class bobbins and can use both metal and plastic bobbins
Machine weighs apx 14 lbs, Measure apx 13" long without extension table x apx 6 1/4" deep x apx 10" high
Very compact yet a real sewing machine, not a toy
Underarm measures apx 5 1/4" to needle from pillar x 3 1/2" under arm height
Machine has a 2 stage presser foot lift, stage 1 is 5/16" and stage 2 where you lift and hold is apx 7/16"
Comes with manual on CD, Zig Zag foot (on machine) + Straight Stitch foot & Zipper/Cording Foot, 4 Class 15 metal bobbins plus 1 pack Singer 15x1 needles

The green material is very light and it puckered a little, I probably should have used some backing
I seamed 2 pieces of vinyl upholstery material together then used the left needle position to sew parrallel rows of stitching along the seam
This example is one of the pockets from a pair of canvas overalls, I sewed along the thick rolled over seams
This is a waistband with belt loops from a pair of denim work jeans, I sewwed thru the waistband and up and over the belt loops
With the extension table off hemming a cuff
Machine is sold as shown and comes with foot pedal/power cord assembly, extra bobbins, needles,zig zag foot,straight stitch foot and zipper foot, Includes non original bed extension table we modified to fit the machine plus all of the shown setup/test sewn examples
