Description
Offered for auction is a nice clean Singer 237M flat bed sewing machine, The 237M was made in the late 1960's-early 1970's in Singers Factory in Monza Italy, This machine has been upgraded to a 1.2 Amp motor and runs smooth and strong, Machine has been lubricated, adjusted, test sewn and is ready to use. Machine features Adjustable stitch length with reverse/backtack, adjustable stitch width and Left/Center/Right Needle Position selector, Machine has Industry Standard 15 class notched hook oscillating shuttle, takes 15 class bobbins, common low shank attachments and uses standard 15x1 flat shank needles sizes 9-21.
Machine has 115 volt 1.2 Amp motor which produces plenty of power for most all around home sewing chores
Detachable power cord and foot controller assembly, Indexed plug assembly for one way insertion
Included with machine are Standard Zig Zag/Utility Foot, Roller Foot, 4 Class 15 metal bobbins and 1 package assorted Singer 15x1 needles plus the manual on CD
Also included is the filler plate that attaches to the right side of the machine for when you use the machine in cabinets that have the longer 16 5/8" opening, The machine is a standard flat bed machine and has the standard 14 5/8" x 7" bed size
Set up/Test sewn exampoles range from basic 2 layers of cotton, Faux leather vinyl upholstry material, 8 layers of green canvas duck and 8 layers of heavy denim jeans material, We provide pics of both the top and bottom stitching so you can see there is no hidden loops or birdsnest underneath, just nice uniform stitching
