    Description

    Although made out of glass, the stein is anything but delicate. The glass is heavy and the pewter lid and base is thick and heavy. The thumblift is large and features a lion with a shield. Such a figure is a Bavarian symbol. There is engraving on the lid in German. All that I could make out was Hochzeit which is wedding. The names on the lid might be the two people who were in the wedding.
