Have you ever looked closely at the hem of your t-shirts or sweatshirts? It usually consists of a twin seam visible above and a zigzag-like seam from below - called a cover stitch. Compared to the twin seam and the zigzag stitch of a sewing machine, the cover stitch is much more stretchy and hard-wearing.

Threading system, your yarn can be threaded easily. Their particular strength lies in their strength and reliability - both for firm, stretchy fabrics and even cross seams. It offers another highlight with a lowerable conveyor. When the presser foot is lifted, it lowers automatically and optimizes the removal and insertion of the fabrics. The adjustable differential feed (0.6 - 2.0: 1) enables perfect seam patterns.
Jet air system
The simply ingenious jet air system makes threading your baby lock cover stitch child's play. From now on you determine the threading sequence of the threads. No more annoying tracking of colored threading points, no confusion due to free hanging threads or starting over because you made a mistake. Simply select the hook thread, insert it into the threading opening, press the lever and the thread will be threaded into the hook tip as if by itself.
Manual thread tension
The thread tension on our baby lock machine is already preset. It has different colored thread tensions for the looper thread and the needle threads so that it can be individually adapted to your sewing requirements.
Lowerable conveyor
When the presser foot is lifted, the feed dog lowers automatically and makes it easier to remove and insert the fabrics.
Differential transport
With the help of the differential transport, the cover stitch enables optimal material transport for elastic fabrics and prevents protruding seams. If you wish, you can create imaginative pucker effects, stretch the seams or create a wavy seam.
Adjustable stitch length
