This a parts machine. It will boot Big Sur or Ventura from an appropriately set up USB drive and run fine when connected to the included power adapter. It will recognize inserted Apple SSD drives and run from them but that original SSD drive stopped working and was not recognized. It has been removed and is not included in the auction. MacBook will not recognize battery. The
original
battery was supposedly replaced with a new battery before I purchased about a year and a half ago. One speaker is torn. Replacement speakers included in auction. Screen is good and not de-laminating, however some the screen surround material (mounting material) is staring to come out. It has 16 GB
of RAM
installed in two 8GB RAM modules. This is best purchased by someone who has the appropriate tools to completely diagnose and has parts on hand.
