  • Condition: Stein is in good shape. There are some minor paint losses along the bottom red trim and on some of the decoration in the top and bottom bands.Specifically some of the blue bands have some paint loss and some of the leaves might have what they call a flea bite.

    Description

    The stein appears to be the stein of Heinrich Guter wsho was in a cavalry unit from Landshut in the German state of Bavaria. There is a blue and white shield over the top of a horse and rider and again the shield in a banner along with a lion which is a sybol for Bavaria. The thumb lift also features a lion. I do not understand why there is not a roster of other reservists who were in the unit when Guter served. On the bottom of the stein is a lithopane of a soldier and his wife of girlfriend.
