1960 Texaco Advertising Vari-vue Ruler, Motorboat Whistle Signal & Passing Guide

This is 1960 Texaco Inc Marina Service Vari-vue showing Nautical Passing Whistle Signals Guide for Motorboats on inland waters on a 8" ruler.  The front is the vari-vue and the backside is the directions for useage, the backside has the Texaco logo. It works on 2 different nautical mile scales. It is in very good condition, the colors are bright and vivid, the vari-vue is clear, not cloudy, cracked or brittle, there is slight curving as old vari-vues are prone to do but it is very flexible and would probably return to completely flat if pressed for awhile, this is really cool, when you slightly tilt it you can easily see the changes of the boats paths to allow safe passage, I tried to take pics of each change so you can see how well it works, this is a really cool vintage Texaco advertising piece, if you collect vintage gas and oil items, you might like this.   Rest assured it will be well packaged for safe arrival to you, thanks for looking at my listing, email any questions, have a great day
