    Description

    This copy of the Blue Book belonged to William Harrison Motz ~3/20/1834 Ashland Ohio - 3/30/1911 Terra Haute, Indiana~. He was a private in company B of the 9th Indiana Infantry. Records show that he was awarded the (Indiana?) Disinguished Service Award. The 9th fought in many battles including Shiloh, Chickamauga, etc.. Please note that the inner hinge is detached, but not the cover from spine.
